2008 End of Season...Referee Dinner Kick Off Dinner 2009

Another year down, and a new one has begun. We celebrated not only being referees...but also honored a few of our own whose efforts went above and beyond the expected in terms of miles run and days spent helping Region 14 put together a fun filled season.
Referees know how to party! Thanks to our resident photographer, Bill Yee, you can prove that you were at the dinner. Click on the thumbnails to see the photos.
Awards and Recognitions: It's a tradition.
The
Referee Quiz. How
did you do on the quiz? If you weren't sure of the answers (and...we weren't
sure either) , look
here. The answer was always "none of the above", but, not surprisingly,
everybody who took it passed. If you were one of the lucky one's to take the
quiz, then you have been automatically upgraded to a National 3 badge. Don't
let that go to your head. The National 3 badges means the next round is on
you...

The Iron Man award dates back to the beginning of Region 14 (give or take a few years). It is given to the referee who completes the most amount of games in the region. It's not easy to earn, but brings a sense of accomplishment and pride. This year's winner is Jack Hailwood with 42 games |
